In line with the REACH OSOR principle (One Substance, One Registration), each SIEF elects a Lead Registrant who will REACH register the technical dossier for a substance. Then all other intending registrants will refer to the registration of the Lead Registrant when making their own registration.
It is understood that ECHA will put in place a 'token' system that will enable other registrants to cross-reference their registration to the technical dossier of the Lead Registrant by quoting the 'token'. ECHA will make known later this year more details about this intended 'token' system.
